No other activity can thrill the artist in me as much as creating aesthetically unique art . The pursuit of aesthetics, the challenge of craftsmanship, and the creative process is a fortunate passion that sends me into an altered consciousness. I am immersed in the art-form I am creating.

I was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia but went to school in the U.S.
After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Duke University I returned to Bogotá to work at the Andes University. While doing biological drawings for the University, I developed an interest in the arts and began studies in drawing and painting at the David Manzur Academy.

I am influenced both by my Latin American background and by my career in Biology.

After moving to the U.S. I continued to develop my art background in numerous classes and workshops. It was in one of these workshops that I became intrigued by three-dimensional art and now work mostly in sculpture and jewelry.

I live in San Rafael, California and am active in various art organizations.
